69. | Mainstay: original design zisha teapot
art by Wu Dong Jun, Yixing This teapot design won the creative design award at the 2007 Yixing pottery exhibition. We, too, thought that it was quite unique, and we added it and its designer to our gallery. Its tall sleek legs, slim body, and modernistic colors of black and brown give it a futuristic look. It is the perfect teapot to fit in with an ultra-modern decorative theme. We always enjoy discovering new and artistic teapot designs, and we were really wowed by this one. |

Square World: zisha teapot art by Wu Dong Jun, Yixing This is an older Yixing teapot theme, nicely done, with special touches. Made of dark purple clay with yellow clay sand mixed in, the calligraphy etched into its sides talks of the warm feeling of a study room. We had been looking for some Yixing teapot classic shapes, and we were happy to find this one by an innovative teapot artist, like Wu Dong Jun. |

Hexagonal Teapot: original zisha teapot art by Wu Dong Jun We like angular teapot designs, and the hexagonal shape is one that we have seen done in a number of ways. We liked this one because of its stoutness and larger size. Jun has the old Chinese calligraphy carved into the surface by a friend who is a calligraphy. Wu Dong Jun is an award-winning teapot artists who is known for his innovative teapot designs. |

Bamboo Rhyme: zisha teapot art by Wu Dong Jun, Yixing We liked the unusual off-center shape of this teapot. Its simple, clean style is accented with bamboo themes in the handle and spout, and the lid has an overlay with cut-outs to make the pull. |

Pleasant Fragrance: zisha teapot art by Wu Dong Jun, Yixing The lines of the body of this teapot are like those of a pumpkin, which is an older teapot art theme. However, the difference with this one is that the lines continue down to the botton to make a scalloped edge. Finishing touches are a squared-off spout, a flourish on the handle and a delicate lid-pull. |
